Product Overview

The EL2042 digital output terminal connects binary 24 V DC control signals to the actuators with electrical isolation. Each EtherCAT Terminal contains two channels whose signal state is indicated by LEDs. The EL2042 enables connection of loads with current consumption up to 8 A if the outputs are connected in parallel. Two 3-wire actuators can be connected directly to the EL2042.   Special features: Connection of different load types possible (ohmic, inductive, lamp load) Max. output current of 4 A per channel or 8 A with parallel connection Short-circuit-proof outputs and reverse polarity protection
