Product Overview

The CX5110-01xx-9020 is a well-adapted, functional, and economical replacement version of the CX9020. The CX5110-01xx-9020 has a 1.20-GHz Intel Atom® single-core processor. The processor clocks at 1.20 GHz instead of 1.46 GHz to achieve lower power consumption and thus reduce the housing width. The hardware interfaces are based on the existing CX5100 series and are identical in design. Two independent, gigabit-capable Ethernet interfaces are available, in addition to four USB 2.0 interfaces and a DVI-I interface. A wide range of additional connection options or gateway functions are available thanks to the optional interface and I/O level, which can consist of either E-bus or K-bus terminals and can be fitted ex factory. The CX5110-01xx-9020 has a 128-kB NOVRAM persistent data memory as standard. In addition, the embedded PC can be ordered ex factory with a capacitive 1-second UPS. The CX5110-01xx-9020 is characterized by low power consumption and a fanless design. Depending on the installed TwinCAT runtime environment, the CX5110-01xx-9020 can be used for the implementation of PLC or PLC/motion control projects with or without visualization.
